At 6:15 p.m. on 18 March, a train without engine, consisting of 35 S-type
flatcars with 27 T-34/85 tanks and 3 heavy tanks,
boxcars was seen at t He eustre i'z railroad
station,

? At 3 p.m. on 15 March 1954, a train carrying 14 x 1.22--mn field howitzers,
14 full-track vehicles, 25 trucks F- I 25X1
4 field kitchens and 12 boxcarloads of troops passed through the
Wittstock railroad station, coming from the directiop of F'ritzwalk and
proceeding toward Dossow. The engine and the last car of the train were
connected by a telephone line.
At 10:20 a.m, on 16 . March, a shipment of 4 guns, 4 x160-mm mortars, 2'7 trucks
and 16 boxcars occupied by troops was seen on route toward Dranse, coming from
the direction of Wittstock. 1 25X1
On 19 March, about 10 boxcarload8 of troops wearin red-bordered black epaulets

and 10 T-34/85 were detrained at the 25X1
!eustrelitz railroad station. 2
1. Comment, The trains probably carried units of the IX Mtz Rifle Corps
en route to the exercises which started in the area west of the Berlin-
Neuglienicke railroad line on 17 March.
