(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 25X1 1. 25X1 Telescopic sights for anti-tank guns, allowing accurate sighting at night up to a distance of 2,000 meters, were used for the first time during recent night firing exercises, reportedly held by tank and artillery units in the Eggesin area, 2. Part of the device was a box which was attached to the inner side of the gun shield with two clamps. The viewing tube itself was fastened to an attachable telescopic sight (drawn in black on the sketch) which had a diameter three times as large as that of the tube. The box and the telescopic sight were connected with a wire. A switch, located in the center portion of the box, was used to adjust the sight to the required distance.
