1. The plant of Autopal, National E1terprise,is located, north of Novy Jicin
(P5o/646) on the main road to Pribor, Along the road the factory is enclosed
by a plank fence 1.5 meter high, and, on the other side by a concrete wall
two meters high with barbed, wire on top.
2,. Of a total of 750 workers in the factory, about 250 are women. The factory
works three shifts; no brigad.e workers 9r prisoners are employed, here.
The factory produced the following:
a. Headlights for motor vehicles, abowt 7,000 per month;
b. Radiators for tractors, 200 per month;
c. Radiators for Skoda trucks, 200 per month;
d. Radiators for tanks,.. 250 per month (see separate desdript:on and sketch);

In dartime the factory is guarded by three gatekeepers and during
the tight by two watchmen, accompanied by a dog. All are members of the factory
militia
8. The working morale in the factory can be called very low. Workmen are
chiefly dissatisfied with their low wages and the very high norms.
The following political organizations exist in the lant:
The Communist Party branch; the Youth Association SCM); and the SYI 1.
All of -them'~have political indoctrination lectures for their members,
once or twice a week and lasting 1ne to two hours.
104 a. Military vehicles storage: storehouses for military vehicles are located
in the vicinity of the tinsmith shop. servicemen
unloading Praga cars and Jawa-250 motorcycles. The storehouses are guarded
by two soldiers who are on duty in the guardroom and one solider
who patrols in the yard.. They carry pistols.
b.' Radiators for tanks: Radiator casings are made of 3 mm. thick sheets
of rust-resisting metal. The measurements are 150 cm. long, 80 cm.
high and. 15 cm. wide. There are some 200 cooling pipes in four rows
made of 0.5 mm. thick brass attached to the tanks. The horizontal
radiating flange is also made of brass 0.5 mm. thick. The distance
between flanges is 2 mm. There is no difference between the upper
and lower parts and, the radiator, may be turned upside rl? m,-. &,,.usbd?,5n
either position.
