1 At u a m. on 20 14.arch 1954, there was air activity by swept-back jet eir-
craft which continuously took off in elements of twos followed by a third
aircraft flying rift of each element. The aircraft climbed to high alti-
tudes where vapor trails could ce seen,, t` ey rr~de circular and horlontal
flights, as well as dives, and pulled out of . their dives while still at
high aI titudeso Between 10 a.or. . and 11 a,r on 22 :arch., no air activity
was conducted. :.bout noon, two single--engine t.ircrafu were observed landing
at the field and) after e short time, a twin-engine aircra+.t landed?1

its former location in the northeastern corner of the field, About 11 aom0,

at the field. Two hangars were closed and one hanger was op and vacant,
Two MG-15 or U--KIG-15s were perked in front of the hangars. The AA gun
emplacement in the ;southeastern corner of the field was occupied by 6 x 37
AA gunso3 A radar Oat., probably a Token-type set, had beon observed on
Apollensborg near W:? ttenberg some days ago; a set of the. same ? ype was also
observed at the field on 21 flarcb.
