1. A munitions dump is situated in a woods about 1 kilometer southwest of IIiezdec
near Klatovy.. It is strongly guarded by a contingent fran tho Klatovy garri,eoii,
new munitions dump is being built at Loreta near Luby,, Ylatovy dietriot.

2. At Klatovy, houses were requisitioned to accommodate officers and two hotels were
converted into soldiers' lodgings. The garrison here is now stronger than in post-
war years and consists of infantry, artillery, and tank units.
3. At Votice, a former mansion house has been converted into barracks for a tank unit.
About 100 hectares of wood and farmland in the outskirts of Votice are being used
as a training ground, possibly for tanks.
4. A castle at Tynec near Klatovy is being used as a barracks for a motorized unit.
5. An infantry garrison is lodged in wooden military barracks at Janovice. New bar-
racks are under construction,
6. Nyrsko has an infantry garrison.
I. It is alleged that more military units are based at Susice at present than at
Klatovy. A headquarters of a higher military command is located here.
8. According to inhabitants of the region, the number of military units near Klatovy
and Susice is steadily increasing.
