SOURCE:
Insurgent groups including the Karen National'Defense Organization (a Do),
the Peoples Volunteer Organization PVO),l the Burma Communist Party (BCP)
and the Communist Party (Burma) (CP(B)) recently sent representatives to
attend a meeting at Tawdangyi village in Twante District on the bank opposite
Rangoon. The meeting was arranged by the BCP. Representatives of the (;Y(73)
stated at the meeting that the Government of Burma plans to destroy all parties
of rebels without consideration of a truce and that therefore all rebels must
unite to take action against the Government.
