(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 25X1 25X1 four 25X1 commercial piers were in use: the cement pier, the import mole, the grain pier, and the oil pier. 2. The coasting mole, pier No. 4, and all piers east of the grain pier were still in disuse. 3. We It of the oil pier, metal stakes were being driven into the sea bed. Apparently 5a a new pier was under construction at this location. Two wrecks were visible in the northeastern part of the harbor. A salvaged hulk was undergoing repairs at the eastern quay. 6. Fishing vessels were moored at the refrigeration. lant. 7, The Soviet liner ROSSIYA was anchored in the port. 8. Naval vessels in the port consisted of an unknown number of coastal patrol vessels, each armed with one gun forward, and three or four 25X1 motorboats, which were observed on one occasion laying a smoke screen in Novorossiysk Bay. The coastal patrol vessels berthed at a small jetty west of the grain pier. The motorboats anchored between the coasting mole and thei western mole. 9.
