The Labor Camp for Juveniles at Jaworzno is located along the highway connecting Jaworzno with Stalinogrod (Katowice). 2. In the camp juveniles between 16 and 21 yea's of a e are imprisoned, mostly for political reasons'(so-called faszysci i zdrajcee, and for fights, thefts or abandonment of work (so-called bumelanetwo i hull- ganstwo)a The sentences amount to four to ten years of imprisonment. Approxi- mately 3000 juveniles are imprisoned at this camp. 3. The camp is guarded by a ,detachment of prison-guards, approximately 300 men, and KBW (Internal Security Corps) patrols control the external part of the camp. The prison -guards are armed with machine-guns, tonmiy guns and M.1+4 carbines of Soviet origin. The following is a legend to the attached sketch: 1. and la. Two-story concrete building, 4 x 20 x 6 meters: UB office, camp radio (radio- wezel), guardroom where the prisoners are controlled when going to or returning from work. 5. Concrete building, 12 x 20 x 8 meters: a bakery, where bread for the military units is baked. Every two days the bread is sent by truck to Szczakowa, 8. Concrete building, 6 x 25 x 5 meters: bathroom for prisoners who work at the coal mines, Feliks and Komuna Paryska; shoemaker's and tailor's shop. 9. Concrete building, 5 x 8 x 3 meters: mechanics' shop and forge. 100 Two-story concrete building, 7 x 20 x 6 meters: storage for the civilian clothes of the prisoners; storage for work suits of the prisoners. 11. Concrete building, 6 x 15 x 5 meters: storage for food (meat, margarine, sausages, etc.). 12. Four-story concrete building, 12 x 30 x 16 meters: prisoners' quarters. 130 Four-story concrete building, 12 x 30 x 16 meters: recreation-room (swietlica), movies and dining-room. 14. Concrete building, 10 x 25 x 8 metersa kitchen for prisoners. 22. Concrete object, 7 x 5 meters (3 meters deep): water tank, 23. Concrete building, 6 x 15 x 5 meters: garage, containing four trucks (3 Star 20, 1 Fiat) and one passenger car, Warszawa. 24. Concrete building 6 x 15 x 4 meters: pigsty containing 43 pigs. 25. Concrete building 6 x 15 x 4 meters: pigsty containing 36 pigs. 26. Wooden barrack, 5 x 5 x 3 metersa guardroom where the prisoners are controlled when going to work. Each prisoner has to call out his name and date of birth. 27. Concrete building, 6 x 15 x 4 meters: pigsty containing approximately 60 pigs, 28. Wooden barrack, 4 x 10 x 4 meters: distribution of food for prisoners who work in this part of the camp. 29..Hall, concrete building, 15 x 60 x 4 meters, where concrete, hexagonal plates, concrete steps and concrete bricks, so-called "pustaki" are being produced,. The products are shipped to Lublin. 30. Concrete building, 7 x 10 x 4 meters: guardroom and room for railroad officials; here the trains taking the manufactured items out are controlled. 31. Concrete building, close to building No. 33: fire guard station, where two new motor-pumps (made in Sweden) are located; the fire guard consists of prisoners. 35. Three-story concrete building, 10 x 30 x 12 meters: storage for colors, electric motors., band saws etc.; planning and production control bureaus are on the third floor. 36. Four-story building, 20 x 50 x 15 meters: still under construction; according to rumors a kind of foundry will be installed. 37. and 38. Wooden barracks, 5 x 15 x 3 meters: joiners' shop, where lockers for soldiers are produced. 39. Wooden barracks, 5 x 15 x 3 meters: joiners' shop, producing rifle racks. 40. Wooden barracks, 6 x 30 x 5 meters, painters' shop, where the rifle racks are painted. 41. and 42. Concrete buildings, 6 x 15 x 5 meters, drying chambers for wood. 43. Railroad siding to the main railroad station at Jaworzno. 44. Barbed wire fence surrounding the part of the camp where the prisoners are billeted. 45. Alarm-wire, electric, 46.
