1. The new bridge over the Warta river at Poznan (P53/X26) is situated
approximately 2,000 yards south of the old bridge; is of concrete
construction, 200 yards in length, 30 yards in width, divided by a
streetcar line in the center; and consists of six spans.
2. The old bridge over the Warta river at Poznan is of wooden construction,
200 yards in length, 20 feet in width.
3. On the opposite side of the road from the J.Stalin Works at Poznan.
Glowna (P53/X26) there are 700 to 1,000 people employed in developing
a new brick-built factory, at which three travelling-cranes of an
estimated capacity of 100 tons each are installed.
4. Half a mile north of the J.Stalin Works and on the same side of the
road, is a one-story factory, of about 10,000 square feet, manufacturing
boilers.
5. The Stomil Tire Works are situated close to the Warta river a few
hundred yards southeast of the J.Stalin Works. One building is
estimated to occupy 20,000 square feet and is three stories high; a
second, single-story building, occupies 10,000 square feet; three
shifts are worked, six days a week.
