Prior to Earch 1953, the barrack:, installation in Freystadt (!) 2/8 4,7) was occupied b,~ Polish troops wearing khaki uniforms and red services, color.. The installation was locates at the western perimeter of the tozn, north of the road to Oherherzogswaldau (0 52/a3 37), in line with a wind;i1l on the other side of the road. Prior to the spring of 1;53, the unit was e:;'ui,it:ed with trucks and horse-drawn vehicles. No heavy weapons were observed.
