Between 12 and 28 May 1954, n^? 11-10s were parked at Brandis airfield, nor was air activity observed there, Occasionally, a Po-2 was observed at the field. On 19 May, a total of 3 Li-2s landed at the field at various times. As previously observed, the field was repeatedly crossed by MiG-15s or fl-MiG-15s. 2. Since the departure of the ground attack unit, new air force soldiers have been observed at the field. Source noticed that some of the new soldiers were very young and that they spoke German fairly well. A portion of the quartering facilities was again occupied. The new troops had apparently arrived by rail, as a vacant train was observed at the railroad station. The a munition sheds in the southeastern sec- tion of the field were empty and the tents near the AA gun emplacement were dis- mantled.
