REMARKS
1, The MT guard regiment in Ferlin-Fiesdorf was subordinate directly to the :dl/(NP.
Officers of the unit wore b1Eck-bordered ruby collar patches, awhile JQ wore rut.y
epaulets rith pipings of unidentified color.
The regiment was organized into the headquarters, the rotor tr nsport company, the
-upply platoon, the instruction platoon, rind the let through 3d Ens, vhicl: totalled
nine companies. In early April 1954, the component units of the regiment stationed
at Berlin-Fiesdorf (excluding the 3d En) nuntered about 15 officers, 150 NCOs, rnd
720 V. Of these, about 28 officers, 36 NCOs, and 2& a' lelonged to'the 2d Bn,
while stout 12C to 13r' seen belonged to the rotor transport corp ny. The strength
of the 3d fn, which was stationed at Strausberg, was undetermined. The regiment
was equipped with about. nine light ntrhine guns per company, and an undetermined
number of subrw.chine guns,,rnd pistols.
