The eastern side of this pier is used for passenger traffic. Some commercial goods are also handled here. The western side of this pier is used for loading grain. The grain is loaded directly from elevators situated along the pier. A floating crane with a capacity of between 30 and 40 tons was berthed alongside the pier. 8. This pier remains in a destroyed condition and is unserviceable. 9. Pier where oil is loaded. 10. Pier used by fishing vessels. 11. The wreck of a cargo vessel is visible at this position. Searchlights are located at these sppronat e positions. 18. This area, which informant believes is situated east of the mouth of the Ozereyka River (N "-4C',, E 37-37)9 provides good anchorage during periods of northeasterly winds. The bottom sediments are composed of mud and clay. The terrain along the coast is mountainous. During the periods of strong northeasterly Yinde9 ships that cannot be accomodated in the harbor of N ,ir: y ?w,s:,iy4k can anchor in this area. However, non-Soviet vessels must, receive permission to use this anchjbrage9 as the terrain to the, north of the anchorage, which informant called "Ozareytca"' is a military area, SKETCH NO.
