The Bozhurishte Airfield - August 1953
1. The BOzhurishte military airfields which is open to the traffic of the civil air-

ines, is located six kilometers northwest-of'Sofia, adjacent to the south side the road to Bankya. It is approximately 3,500 Imr 3.000
meters in sima.

2. An unknown number of single-engine jet aircraft are located at the field. Planes
of the Bulgarian civil airlines also land at the field.

The Dupnitsa Airfield - 1954
I. An airfield is located approximately 14 kilometers east of Dupnitsa (N 42-15;
E 23-06, now Stanke Dimitro, ), about one kilometer north of the road to Samokov.
It is about .3,000 by 3,,000 meters in size. The surface is of natural grass and
has no runway. The field is partially enclosed by a low fence.
5. No airplanes are based at this airfield. The only building is a wooden barracks
at the southern limits of the field. The airfield is the garrison of a small
Air Force unit, strength not know, which occupies these barracks.
6. Metal barrels for fuel are located at the field, in quantities which informant
described as nenormous." However, because of the absence of guard personnel and
other protective measures, informant believes that the barrels are empty.
