(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) On 9 April 1954, six biplanes with radial engines and Soviet markings were observed at the airfield on the northern perimeter of Brest. The southern boundary of the field which was sodded was 700 to 800 meters long and ran in an approximately east-west direction. The field from north to south was about 1,200 meters long.
