In late 1tiiay 1954 the filter quartzes to be used in the receiver arrived from
VEB Carl Zeiss, Jena. InMs. Kattner and Pilat are working on the mounting
of the filters. The filters are to separate the five D:CCA frequencies
which are received together in the input stage and to lead them -separately
to the decometers. Ing. Stein is working on the mounting of the input stage.
Development of a decometer by PEir`in Berlin70bcrschoeneweide is still in
its initial stage. In late .Lay 1954, l~'E~`.erPfi:~.e
informed Funkwerk Koepenick that the amount of 10,000 DBE allowed for this
development was too small and that the development would be discontinued
until more funds had been made available. After a promise for more funds
was given EFEM, the latter enterprise resumed its decometer development
on 1 June 1954.
