1. The former Meinecke Factory, redesignated the Paris Commune Factory by the Poles,
was located in Wroclaw-Karlowice (Breslau-Karlowitz). The plant was reconstructed
and enlarged after the war. Prior to the German surrender in 1945, water meters
were manufactured at the factory. This production was not resumed after the war.
2. In 1954, rough castings for artillery pieces were manufactured at the works. 25X1
They were 50 to 55 cm. long, about 16 cm.,in diameter, and had the shape
of a shell. They were finished in one of.the shops at the works.

of small shells at this factory when it was known as the State Hydrometer Factory
