ITS TRANSMISSION OR REVEL- ATION OF ITS CONTENTS TO OR RECEIPT BY AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON j PROHIBITED BY LAW THE REPRODUCTION OF THIS FORM IS PROHIBITED. THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 1. On 23 May 1954, when the new summer timetable went into effect, the newly erected Oderbruecke border station in Frankfurt/Oder was put into operation. The station which handles transit traffic in the direction of Brest Litovsk was equipped with three tracks.l At the new station trains are taken over by the Polish State Railroads which also furnished the tractive power. German locomotive brigades previously handling Soviet transit traffic through Poland will be' disbanded. Of the 130 brigade locomotives stationed in Frankfurt/Oder, 50 are scheduled to be lent to the Poles. 2. On 24 May 1954, the new railroad border station in Frankfurt/Oder was opened to traffic. 1 Comment.
