REMARKS _
DATE PREPARED 15 June 1954
Between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on 21 April 1954, individual take-offs and landings
were made by 9 biplanes from the direction of Warsaw-East (R 53/34 Us ED (y788) 25X1

made local flights around an airfield which could not be observed. A biplane

(R 53/34 Us DC 9900) railroad station a jet aircraft with swept-back wings
and elevator assembly was flying at an a tude of about 1,000 meters from the
northwest to the north. The aircraft towed a white sleeve target which was not

to east-southeast and then zoomed-up quickly. About 5:20 p.m., 4 jet aircraft
of the same type were observed parked in one line, with their noses pointing
toward the west, at Warsaw-Boernerowo (34 Us DC 9590) airfield. The possibilities
1 Conmsnt. From the information on the location and the air activity observed
it is assumed that the airfield is located near Warsaw-Goclaw. The aircraft 25X1
stationed at this airfield are probably used for pre-military training.
2 Comment. The jet aircraft observed probably belong to the Fblish fighter
me stationed at Boernerowo (Babies) airfield.
