1. On 18 April 19549 ship can.a from Stettin and approeehsd
the biftrosti on a the Old Swine River, a gray
Soviet amdliary vessel of about 2,000 tdv under the Soviet ensign
was see unloading torpedoes with her own gear at a wooden pier
projectiat into the river. This auxiliary vessel had a plmb stag
and a rairad foredeck with a gun pedestal. A east with derricks

2. Another auxiliary of similar type was moored at the former destroyer
pier in Swinesmmends. This ship carried two guns of between 75-art.
and 100-a, caliber, one each separately mounted forward and aft
without protective shields. Three submarines of about 500 tons vase
alongside this vessel. The submarines, which were sister ships)hed
a net cutter and a well rounded conning tows with steps at the
after end. No armamera ens observed on deck or on the conning tower.
Cargo booms were swung out from the freighter over two of the
