As of late December 1953 a reinforced concrete wharf, approximately 20 meters long and 10 meters wide, was under construction at a point about 300 meters from the peninsula at the foot of a hill located t* kilo- meters west-southwest of Raisin. The depth of the water alongside the wharf is about five meters. An identical wharf, about 300 meters west of the first wharf, to used only for military shipping. The water along- side this wharf is more than five meters. Fort Bayard 2. The end of the jetty at Fort Bayard had collapsed and no repair work had been undertaken as of 1 January 1954. Peihai (A 21-24, E 109-05) 3. A dunk construction yard, composed of a rigging workshop on the west bank of the river and slipways on the east bank, is in operation on the bay called "typhoon shelter." The sign above the entrance of the yard reads: "Construction and Launching Yard of the Sea Stores Company of Kwangai Province."
