REMARKS
The following troops and materiel from the Artillerie Kaserne in Altenburg (SCC1)
sere entrained on 5 July:
At C70C: A shipment of 9 x 152-nnn field howitzers, 99 prime rrover;, al rori:nately
25 trucks, 2 tank trucks and 6 boxoi.rs with troops. The train depar 50X1-H U M
toward Jena at 1100.
At 2215: A shipment of 16 x 152-na; field howitzers, 16 prime movers,
approximately 15 trucks, 2 tank trucks and 8 boxcars with troops. The
scheduled. On 8 July, the Artillerie Kaserne still quartered approximately 50X1-HUM
40C men. The troops who departed were estimated at 70 to 80 officers and
700 to 800 EM.
2. From 28 June to 8 July, the Infanterie Kaserne (8002) was still occupied by
approximately 1,000 troops wearing red-bordered black epaulets. Seventeen
trucks, each with 15 men and 13 x 57-mm AT guns returned to the kaserne
at 1000 on 28 June. the unit had departed during50X1-H U M

3. At 1215 on 22 June, a troop shipment left Eisenach railroad station toward
Erfurt. It carried:
2 TMP pontoons each on 9 flatcars with sideracks;
2 trucks each on approximately 9 flatcars with sideracks;
beams and planks on approximately 3 flatcars with sideracks;
25 men each wearing black-bordered black epaulets on about 5 boxcars. 2
4. At 1900 on 6 July. an artillery unit drove toward Kindel troop training grounds
via Stockhausen (northeast of Eisenach). Nineteen trucks towing 11 x 76-mm
guns and 8 x 122-mm field howitzers were observed. 50X1-H U M

Gds Army have remained at the posts, except for short-term firing practices
in Forst Zeitz.
