(FOR REY SEE REVERSE) 1, In the middle of June 1054 the Gdynia Municipal Transport Office (Miejskie Zaklady Komunikacyjnd)received instructions to dispatcn six of their best trolleybuses to Lublin. 2. The trolleybuses were overhauled and all traces of their Gdynia origin were removed. They were then sent by rail transport to Lublin, without personnel, 3. It was officially announced that, in view of the expected large influx of people into Lublin in connection with the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the creation of the Lublin Government, the town would require large numbers of vehicles in order to render communications more efficient, In Lublin, however, it was announced that the Soviet Government had sent to Lublin a gift of six trolleybuses to commemorate the recovery of independence. 4. After the dispatch of the vehicles, Gdynia was left with only seven serviceable trolleybuses since 14 other trolleybuses have been left idle for a long time due to a lack of spares and tires.
