The houses were the usual low houses. They were located 25X1 a short distance from each other. 4. No vessels were observed along the shore, nor were there any other signs of life, from the first sighting of land to the time when the radio masts were were seen. The coast was similar to that in East Finland, with steep cliffs and sandy shores. Peninsula (N 9-42, E 32-36).
