1. Qn 31 Ma.y -1951+ a large warehouse at 165 Chiehfang''(~C31#3/2397) Road,
C~e.ngchou (N 24-32, E 117-~+2) w~ owned by .the CYiinese Communist. Food
Bureau (Clang Shih Chu, ~+752/7380/3~+~+~+) , The warehouse was used
exclusively far storing. provisions' and was equipped with new 21i~r1d-
winding window openers, chemical fire extinguishers, and insect kill-
i n~ axid disinfecting equipment.
2. The warehouse was enclosed by a bamboo fence with a guardhouse seven
meters from the warehouse. A pass had to be shown to the guards when
ente~,~tig-or leaving the warehouse. Trucks, owned by the Fukien Pro.-
vinc'e Transportation bureau (Yun:.Shu Chu, 6663/6551/1~+~+), were used
in transporting provisions. to e~rid`from the warehouse.
3. The building measured 25 meters long x 1~ meters wide x 20 meters
high and had a cement foundation four meters high. ., The wall above
the foundation was red brick, and the roof of the building was tile.
There were two horzontt~.l rows of windows one row two meters above the
