SUBJECT Flour Warehouses in Sofia
1. Flour for Sofia is stored in a number of warehouses throughout the city and dis-
tributed to local bakeries according to their requirements for a certain period.
One of the largest storage areas is located near a former sugar refinery in the
northwestern part of Sofia, near a railroad station known as Zakharna Fabrika
(sugar refinery) Station.
2. The warehouses, built of brick with sloping roofs of tin, are strongly guarded.
The storage area may be recognized by the two tall chimneys of different heights
on the former sugar refinery.
3. The following is the legend to the sketch of the warehouses and neighboring
buildings which is included as an appendix on page 3:
