In connection with the reorganization of Soviet transit traffic through Poland, the GDR Railroad Administration offered to lend 80 locomotives to the Polish Railroad Administration. It is believed that the negotiations mentioned were connected with this transaction. Comment. Ruednitz which is northeast of Berlin, Kerkwitz which is located southwest of Guben, and Ducherow which is located northwest of Pasewalk, had previously been used for the parking of reserve column locomotives. Comment. Information on the'introduction of the service after the Sovi t pattern, was transmitted previously. e Comment.\The so-called ttRichtpunktverfahren" concerns the maarshaling and'bkebivgaikp?of trains at shunting stations and marshaling yards. It has been designed to simplif these operations. One of the main features of the new system is a tic change in the previous procedure of labeling trains with waybills which fix the route of the cars from the place of departure to destination.
