On 3 and 4 1y and during the niZat of 3 Jiay 1954, no air activity
was obscove, at Wiener Nio2stact:, ( 47048' E/16q5 E) airfield. Throughout
the day, there was a V1.0 overcast at an alitutde of about 1,800 meters,
no wind, are visibility of about :Z5 km.
About 100 on 3 Luly, an T1-2V uas parked in the
hangar at Taaresienfeld 7?51' N/16?15' n) alrfield. The tail unit of
piTcrm. lypopoted fcm the avoarenly too lou hangar. An informant
stated that the 11-28 had
already teen parked in luaresienfeld for about 10 days, while no other
11-28s 1,ere seen at Wien lv Neustp,nt airfield during the same period.
Informant farther said tlat the Z1-28 J.:a.; no longer seen at about
1630 on 5 fly. 2
Between 0800 and 1500 on 15 July, 48 i Yak-.11s and 2 biplanes
were obserlied at Wiener kmetadt irfield, There was a 3/10 overcast at
an altitude of about 29030 meters, and good viaibility of about 30 km.

The eastern and southern AA gun emplacements we not occupied. The
eastern emplacements were apparently abandoned. The wird eons was no
longer observed as fho fi 4 oao vsassilar trafm
involved two trucks 1 both
with drivers wearing black-bordered blue epaulets. Two railroad tank
cars were observed on the spur track near the assumed fuel dump
northeast of the pyrotechnic plant. The area of the storage sheds in
the pyrotechnic plant was guarded by sentries wearing black-bordered
blue epaulets. Auxiliary fuel tanks and damaged crates for MiGs15
accessories were stored there. The ground radio installation located
in the depression near the pyrotechnic plant east of the southern
raw of searchlights, just west of the Woeller dorfer Strasse railroad
station, and about 2.8 km east of the Theresienfeld railroad station,
were roved. About 50 meters northwest of the Adcock DF station
was an antenna system of an unknown type and next to it an. unidentified
cube-shaped device. An umbrella-shaped antenna was observed just so,uth
of the antenna mast which was southeast of the kdoosk DF station.

Ligagg. The 11-28 probably belongs to one of the bomber units of
the Fifty-Ninth lir Army which are equipped with 11-26s and Stationed
in Hungary.
hamsnst,. It is believed that Wiener Neustedt airfield is still
occupied by 2 Soviet fighter regiments and the superior division
headquarters.
