I. In June 1954 the Ne Infanterie Xaserne (2221) in Neustre'litk was oc3up3ed
to capacity by the units previously observed thm.re0 Intensive training was
held in the installation and the training area. On 8 J r.,9,, about 150
soldiers drilled in the barracks yard. Training with gas sks and slgaal
equipment and drill on a 577s AT gun were observed in the training aroa
north of the installation. Four `T3344/85 tanks and 1 JS wink left the instal-
lation for this area. On 13 Junes TT34,/35 tames and one IS
tank were seen in the barracks yard,. On 17 Ju g 12 JS a;: c 34, 5 tanks
and, 5 armored personnel carriers went to the training area north of the
