The following figures have been quoted for production in the metallurgical Indus
a. The productivity of the blast furnaces was 1.4 cubic meters/t/24.
b. The consumption of coke per ton of iron was 1,163 kgs
c. Average number of days of work of a blast furnace was 350 per ann mi.
d. Production per cubic meter capacity of a Martin furnace was four tons of steel
per 24 hours$
e. Average n miber of working days of a Martin furnace was 300 per annum.
