continuous aircraft traffic. from the nearby flying field at Spilve.`
2. On 26 April, three-submarines about 50 meters in length crossed the har-
bor on a northerly course. several patrol-boats and MTBs
in the winter harbor. Many were hauled up on:the shore. -
Jet aircraft: were heard several tildes but not observed,
The aircraft were predominantly of a twin-engined propeller-driven type.
3.. On 1 May, ten to 15 MTBs left the harbor. They were 30 to.4O meters in
length and had one torpedo-on each side.
1i. Enroute ter Riga, several small patrol craft at intervals.
The farthest from Riga were those seen about the middle of the Irben Straits
at the entrance to the Gulf of Riga
