Work is done in three shifts, each shift having 1?i0 male workers and 20.fcmale workers. 6. ^he production of the factory consists of the following: ao Narrow-gauge mine locomotive a; according to information given at the Party meeting, the monthly production quota is 250 units. As is the case with all other quotas, however, this figure is not being achieved. b:, Narrow-gauge mine cars; production quota unknown, e~: Truck. trailers; monthly quotas SO units. The reason for nonfulfillment of the production quota can be found in the nnor quality and the late delivery of the raw materials. Approximately 20 percent of the production ordered for the USSR is not accepted by the Soviet Control Commission because of bad: workmanship. About 50 percent of the production goes to the USSR and the remaining 50 percent, which, however, to a large extent consists of goods rejected by the USSR, romaine on the domestic market. The dispatch of goods to the USSR is handled via the Kobanya freight station. g. The factory is supplied with steel and iron by the Pestlorinc Rolling Mill; coal is supplied from the Tatabe,nya dfstrict, and electric power by'the B~nhida power plant. ~,? 9. The factory is guarded by a l2 :man guard detail of the black-itin3.formed industrial .police. The detail is under the command. of an AVH lieutenant. There is a 21~-hour guard detail consisting of two. men armed with rifles station~^~ ~+ try m4in entrance fa.cing.Gyomrdi ut; at night them is also a roving t~ao-man patrol within the factory area. The workers of the factory, office employees, and the technical personnel must have passes with pictures; strangers must have .permission from the AVH lieutenant for entering the factory... The factory area, approximately 300 x 220 m~is surrounded by a wooden fence. Legend to the enclosed sketch of the Maszolaj Machine factory: 1.
