Burgas has four hospitals and four medical stations. The following hospitals are known to informants a. The Durzhavna Bolnitsa (State Hospital) is located in a large 3-story building at the end of Kiril i Metodi Street, not far from the army barracks; it has an air raid shelter in the basement which extends the length of the hospital building; b. The Rabotnicheska Bolnitsa (Workers' Hospital) is located in a I or 11-story building opposite the central railroad station; it was established in 19148 or 1919; c. The Katolicheska Bolnitsa (Catholic Hospital) has a surgical ward only; and d. # large hospital, name unknown, located near the Rabotnicheska Bolnitsa. Miscellaneous Installations in Burgas 4. Three large floating fuel tanks are located in the harbor near the old rail- road station. Fuel oil arriving from abroad, in particular from Rumania, is unloaded into the tanks, and Bulgarian ships fuel from them. A pipeline connects the tanks with the railroad station, where fuel can be pumped into tank cars. 5. The underground air raid shelter, which is located in the municipal park, is a reinforced concrete structure in a zig-zag shape. It is approximately 2.5 meters wide, and the height is approximately the same. It has three entrances and is equipped with installations for water and electricity.
