1. On the road from Klatovy (N 119-211, E 13-18) to Nyrako (N l19-189 E 13-09)9
a road branches off to the left just beyond Janovice (N 119-21, E 13-13).
and leads to a military establiahment? Construction of this garrison was
begun in 1951 and had not been completed by 1952. The buildings were
five stories high and would house about 1,000 men each. ' (See Annex A.)
2. On, the road from lt'rako to Mestys Zelezna Ruda (N 119-08, E 13-15), a road
branches to the right shortly after Nyrsko. On the left side.of,.the branch
road is a step-like hill with a wooden house on the top. This house has a
glass blister and is equipped with telephone. Three or four men in blue
airforce uniforms man the gtation, observing flights and controlling
observation planes. (See Annex B.)
3. Farther along the road from Nyreko to Mestys Zelezna Ruda, before Hamry
(N 110-13, E 13-08), are two antitank barricades made of wood and filled
with stones and dirt.
