lo At the end of August 19549 all enterprises under the East German Ministry
for Machine Gonstruction had sent in their answers to the changed 1954
Gross Production Plan of 10 July 19541, On the basis of these answers
of the enterprises, the Plan underwent another change which now appears
to be final. It turned out that the enterprises thought they would be
able to put out more production with the material allotments granted them
by the Ministry than the Ministry and the State Planning Commission had
expected. For this reasons the reduction of production as compared with
the original Plan could be partly rescinded. The new, and as it now seems,
final Plan for all enterprises under the Ministry for Machine Construction
is only about 120 million LYE short of the original Plan goal.
2. The following is the final Production Plan established on the basis of
coordination with the individual enterprises. All amounts are planned 1954
dales prices (iJarenabgapreise)for Learenproduktion2 and are listed in millions
of hits
