2. On 25 and 26 September, an empty troop train arrived at'the Kietz
railroad station. The arrival of additional trains was expected.
On. 25j- -26- and 27 September, "a total of four troop trains was 'dispatched
from Priort to Brueek and Wiesenburg. Troop trains observed between
25 and 28 September included:

On 27 September, additional troop trains were said to have been dispatched
from Lieberose to Fuerstenwalde.. 7
Comment. The troop train which was previously reported carried
elements of the 358th Gds AAA Regt of the 8th Gds Mecz Div to their
home station at Leisnig. The troops returned from firing practices
in the Jueterbog area.
C nt.-The troop trains carried components of the 10th Gds Tk
Div which returned from the division maneuver in the area east of
Cottbus and north of the Lieberose troop training grounds. The trains
were previously observed.
C t. The .troop trs~ins'probably carried tank units of the
9th Mecz Div back to their winter quarters. The division probably
held a large-scale field exercise which extended from the area of the
Forst Tauer troop training grounds to the Jueterbog area and terminated
on 27 September 1954. The wheeled elements of the division which
participated in the field.. exercise probably returned to their home

confirms again that a component of the 9th Mecz Div,'which also includes
tanks, is stationed at the Neue Kaserne south of Camp Zbssen.
Comment. The two troop trains which carried components of the 2d
Gds,AAA Div were previously reported.

1954 probably operated in connection with movements of the IX Mtz
Rifle Corps to the Wiesenburg Belzig Brueck?assembling area from
.which the fall,,maneuvers of the corps started in a northwesterly
direction.

Mecz Div to their home station at Frankfurt/Oder and Fuerstenwaldd.
The "return movement started on 23 September. Most of the trains
reported up to 26 September 1954 went to,Frankfurt/Odor.
