1. At a conference of railroadmen engaged in the maintenance and
operation of locomotives, the importance of economizing on the
consumption of hard coal and brown coal was stressed. It was
resolved that, expressed in percentage ,, figures, the following,
quantities of raw brown coal were to be fired by locomotives in
the fourth quarter of 1954:
