Comment. The shipments were made in connection with the personnel exchange of the 1st Mecz Div and the 2d Light Arty Brig. 2. Animal pictures as troop symbols are observed for rst time. The vehicles possibly were old trucks which were to be turned in. The vehicles belong to the 1st Mecz Div. 3. Comment. Between 7 and 10 October, units of the 18th Mecz v w ich had not participated in the exercises of the Third Shock Army probably transferred to their winter quarters. The present information indicates that the Wittstock training grounds had been vacated prior to 10 October. 4. ~_~Coommment. The information on the occupation of the installation contradicts observations by the same source of early October and railroad records according to which the unite of the 94th Gds Mtz Rifle Div stationed in Wismar did not participate in the exercises of the Third Shock Army from late September to early October. According to the present report the units concerned did participate since the date of the return checks with information on the retransfer of other participating units.
