1. The "Ganz" electric power stations are the largest producers of electricity
in Hungary at the present time.
2. "Ganz" 3-phased motors fall into two groups
a. squirrel-cage type motors
I). co:amutator ("bague collectrice") type motors.
The "Ganz Works have improved these motors by producing a type with two cages,
the starting qualities of which are better.
3. The capacity of the motors is from 1/20 h.p. - 3,000 h.p.. and even above. In
addition to 3-phase motors Hungarian industry manufactures d.c. motors, dynamos and
alternators.

a. Standard transformers of 10-2,000 kva,
b. High-tension oil circuit-breakers,
c. Sr.u'7l capacity oil circuit-breakers (hydraulic ? or oil bath ?),
d. Expanding (? a expansion) circuit-breakers,

f. High-voltage fuses
g. Low-voltage oil circuit-breakers for motor protection,
h. Automatic low-voltage circuit-breakers,
1. Electric fork lifts ("a fourche").
5. Minor electric apparatus such as cutout, switches, lamp.holders, plugs and Rimloch
and Tungsram (Orion-Radio) tubes, and Minophas.e surchargeable electricity meters type
"NE" are manufactured in Hungary by the "Kontakta", Ega" ?and "Aek" factories
factories, for export to China
