1. An army fuel depot is located northwest of Slapanov (N 49=32, E 15-40) in the
southwest corner of a woods extending from the Hochtanov hill. It is not
visible from the edges of the woods. The whole wooded promontory is protected
by a barbed-wire fence with notices of warning not'to enter the area.
2. The construction of the depot was started in 1950 and-was finished in 1952.
A new road and a railroad line were built to connect the site with the
Slapanov railroad station, and six metal tanks 20 meters long.and 2.5 meters
in diameter which had been stored since 1951 at the Slapanov railroad station
then were transported by rail to the site.

Small repairs and maintenance have been carried out, but no new buildings have
been added since then.
4. The fuel depot is located south of the Valasske Mezirici - Vsetin - Karlovicel
railroad line on the eastern edge of Halenkov. The site extends for 350
meters alongside the railroad line between the Halenkov railroad station and
the Vsetin - Karlovicel road. The site is fenced off and looks from the
outside like an orchard.
5. Small concrete pillboxes one meter high, 0.75 meter long, and 0.5 meter wide,
can be seen from outside. The pillboxes are at a distance of 25 meters from
each other in about six rows. Under each pillbox there is a fuel tank. Each
