1. All work has been stopped at Sztalinv&ros, with the exception of the following
installations which are still in operation: One foundry, one Martin furnace,
and one power station.
2. All construction work at SztalinvAros had been stopped by January 1954, with
the exception of housing for workers still living in tents and huts. By August
1954,. construction of housing for workers had been stopped also. The town had
originally been planned for 50,000 inhabitants; later this number was reduced
to 25,000. As of August 1954, approximately 8,000 persons were actually living
at Sztalinv&ros.
