1. The second track of the Karl-Marx-Stadt - Zwickau rail line is, being
restored.
2. This second track is being relaid in three sections:
3.
a. From Karl-Marx-Stadt/Siegmar as far as Wi:.estenbrand;
b. From St. Egidien to within 3.5 km. of Glauchau;
c. From Glauchau/Schoenboernchen to 2 km. in the direction of Mosel.
Laying of the ballast of the track is :omplete. Rails and ties are on hand
in sufficient quantities for the sections described in 2.a. and 2.b., although
no rails have been bolted to ties. yet. Only the ballast has been laid for
the section described in 2.c., although a few ties are in place.
