1. A regular engineer officer, who was attending a course at the Gdansk Polytechnic,
was recalled to take up an appointment recently vacated by a Soviet colonel.
2. The Soviet colonel, who had been in charge of the construction of fortifications
near Szczecin (Stettin), was called back to the USSR. All Soviet officers who
were working under him were also recalled.
