At the beginning of the new school year 1954/55) a large number or children of both sexes were seat to local elementar: sdiools in Nowa Sol (Neusalz). 2. These children are accommodated in special boarding schools and are looked after by their own Korean teachers, allegedly Korean Army officers, all of whom speak fluent Russian. 3. The youngsters know enough Russian to rake themselves understood to the other children. Temporarily the greatest stress is being laid on learning Polish, in order that the children can understand lessons conducted in Polish.
