1. On occasion of a conference held lI October 1954, chief construction
supervise stated that the 13-km-long spur track to the
Querfurt airfield was to be completed by the end of 1954? VEB Ing Tiefbau
Brandenburg was contracted for contraction work at the field.
2. On 11 October, 8 carpenters from VEB Ing Tiefbau Brandenburg were employed
for the first time on preparatory work at Querfurt airfield (construction
project NO 542). Additional laborers were to be dispatched to Querfurt later.
