THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. The Polish'Geritral Agricultural Institute (Ceritralny Instytut Rolniczy)'is i,4
located. in Warsaw on Ulica Gurskiego 7. This Institute is part of the
Ministry of Agriculture (Ministerstwo Rolnictwa) and was created in 1952.
The mission of the Institute is to provide agricultural literature to the
Polish peasants and farmers. The Institute translates agricultural books from
Russian into Polish and sees that these books are distributed among Polish farmers.
U~t asp * blishes weekly and monthly agricultural journals.and manages two
experimental stations, where new agricultural techniques are tested and
developed. One of these experimental stations is in the Warsaw area.
2. The director of the Central Agricultural Institute is Stanislaw Podgurski.
3. The Central Agricultural Institute planned to send the following employees
to the Moscow Fair of 1954:
