1. The I. C. Frimu sawmill at Sinaia was dismantled in 1950 and transferred to
Piatra Arsa, a locality situated four kilometers north of Sinaia on the road
to Azuga. It is not known whether the transfer was connected with the
conversion of the entire I. C. Frimu group of factories to the production of
war materiel.
2. The sawmill has its own hydroelectric plant, with turbine, on the Prahova
River. Information on its capacity or on the power needs of the sawmill is
not avail,ble.
