During the morning of 16 October 1954, numerous soldiers and officers arrived at Haldensleben on regular passenger trains and were picked up by trucks which left toward Planken. 1 2. At about 1130 on 19 October, a troop train with numerous soldiers and 30 trucks was unloaded at Haldensleben. The troops left toward Planken. 2 On 20 October, a troop train of 10 F with ten JS-2 tanks was observed at the Meitzendorf railroad station. The train was headed toward Haldensleben. 2 4. On 22 October, a troop train of 12 B, 16 F, weighing 846 tons passed through the Rathenow railroad station. The train came from Haldensleben and went to?Bernau. 3 troop trains leaving Wuensdorf on which went to Dresden, and another train of 15 31 October included a train of 13 CB, 4 B, 6 F which went to Wittenberg. U-B, 2 13, 4-F Comment. Previous reports also indicate that a personnel processing r of the Third Shock Army is located in the Letzling Heath area. omment. These troop trains have net been identified. on 14 October. from Templin to Letzling Heath probably carried a tank detail of the 6th Gds Mecz Div which mnvP1 Comment.
