In Augi"'+, 1954, a new catalyzer designed to-increase the octane rating of
gasoline by 11 units was developed at VEB Syrthese-Werk Schwarzheide. The
catalyzer has the chemical formula A1203-Cr2O3 and is mixed at a ratio of
4s1.
