Comment. Prior to 10 October, the units of the 18th ,:ech
Div returned to their posts from the maneuver of the Third Shock
Army and the I'iti stocl, training grcuz, cts.
The present information indicates that the j5d Tank . e;t returned
to its previous quarters in the Alte Kaserne in Parchim. The
regiment is equipped only with T-34. tanks and heavy i? Buis and
not with JS tanks. The e-Oth Lech Rest of the division presumably

stationed prior to the summer training period.

the 120th ;;"Ltrcl Bn. It is undetermined whether the field howitzers
belong to the 1054th How Arty Regt or the 592d Xiort Regt.. It Is
possible that a medium mortar battalion of the latter unit was
replaced by a field howitzer battalion as was observed with several
mortar regiments in the zone.
